Role: Producer / Director (shooting)

Production: 1 x 90 min single doc, BBC1

Dates: Late Jan / mid Feb – Autumn 2020

Location: London

Talented People has been tasked to find a talented Director for an authored feature length doc for BBC1.

The film has demanding journalistic elements told through a bold and revealing journey that will be both in the UK and in global locations. It will be powerful, emotional, and at times mischievous.

The right Director will be:

–  A strong shooting docs director, with dynamic and populist films / series evidence.

– Very experienced producing and directing on screen talent

– Journalistically solid – complex legal and compliance

– A very strong storyteller over 90 mins

– Strong edit skills

You will be working with the Exec and the producer from the award winning film Drowning In Plastic and the ambition is for this film to have a similar impact.
