A senior strategic hire in digital and new Head of Talent jobshare, bolstering the team in answer to growing demand during this ‘talent crunch’…
Talented People is thrilled to announce that YouTube Originals Production Executive Emily Taylor joins us as Talent Executive to lead the digital/online content staffing department of the company. Emily was Head of Production for digital at Jamie Oliver’s production company, before moving on to build an in-house digital production arm at Studio 71 and then her Production Executive role at YouTube. Emily will be matchmaking talent with clients’ roles in freelance and permanent positions from creatives to copywriters, producers to production managers.
Also, stepping up into a newly created Head of Talent role as a jobshare with Katie Bright is Manchester-based Naomi Callan, Series Editor turned Talent Manager with Talented People since 2021.
These two are an impressive pairing, and it feels bang on for us to be able to model the kinds of roles we champion ourselves with a senior jobshare. says Joint MD Rosie Turner. Katie and Naomi’s decades of experience in both staffing and programme-making means they can support the wider team as well as specialise in executive searches across development, editorial and post production.
You might have been speaking to some other new team members here at TP Towers too… Other recent hires include Talent Manager Tors Sorby, joining from her role identifying and nurturing under-represented talent at MAMA Youth Project, Jessica Endonyan, the RTS award-winning Producer of ‘David Harewood: Why is Covid Killing People of Colour’, and Nicki Reilly, Glasgow-based Talent Coordinator supporting with production management roles.
The Talent Managers at TP are as diverse as the candidates we place, -with two thirds of our team from an under-represented group.

Kimberly Godbolt, Joint MD of Talented People, gives her opinion on what's happened to the content-making market since late 2022. It’s been about 18 months since we sensed a downturn in the TV market at Talented People. About 12 months since we started having to make...
Joint MD of TP Kimberly Godbolt ponders of the making of season two of The Imposter Club podcast. When I put the headphones on, I’m transported into 'Podcast Me'. Which is kind of like 'Director Me' from the old days. I step into a bubble wearing that headset, where...
1st June 2023 Happy Pride month one and all! We know that it’s not enough to simply change your company logo for a day/week/month, or churn out some supportive sentence we saw on a meme #virtuesignalling. But I hope that by now you know that TP means business on the...

It was a last minute thing for us, going to Edinburgh TV Festival this year. Of course, it’s the kind of industry event we should be at every year - it's a perfect mix of business and pleasure for TP: mingling with both indie and broadcaster clients as well as...
