Meet the Team – Rosie Turner

Here at Talented People, we are always asking about you, so we thought it was only fair we told you a bit more about each of us! Talented People is a tight little bunch of four passionate Talent Managers, all from different backgrounds and corners of the globe, but with one thing in common – an insatiable appetite for great content and the people who make it.

This week: meet one of our Managing Directors – Rosie Turner….

Based: Sunshine Coast, Australia (yes really)

First job in TV: Office admin role at Celador Productions. It was honestly the best place to work ever.

Worst moment in TV: All the poo related stuff while working on You are what you eat with Gillian McKeith. And the fridge in our production office with poo samples in. Still not over it.

Career highlight: Doing a Guinness world record highest pancake toss with Aldo Zilli on the Southbank. As an 80s kid, there is no higher achievement in life.

Personal Life highlight: Just living where I live with my boys.

Favourite Food: Salty vinegary chips

At the weekend, you’ll find her: On the beach / in the pool

Currently binge watching: Usually watching Schitt’s creek on a loop again and again. My happy place.

Role at TP: Joint MD with Kimberly. While you are all sleeping, I am madly doing searches undisturbed by the world, which I love. And then when you wake, it’s all about managing the team, chatting to people and juggling all of the weird and wonderful roles that we get in to work on.

Most likely to say: ‘I really need to go to bed soon’ (said at 11pm most nights)

Email: rosie@talentedpeople.tv

Next time, meet Charmaine Kakaga, telly-obsessed Talent Co-ordinator at TP Towers.

(And meet Senior Talent Manager Katie Bright here.)
